Job Summary:
The specialized Oncology Nurse position is located in Dallas, TX, within the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. This role involves providing expert nursing care to patients undergoing complex treatments, including chemotherapy and stem cell transplants. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position offers a schedule of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications: BMT experience, ability to read telemetry, monitor simple titration of drips, and administer chemotherapy
Additional Information: Unit features include bedside monitors, bedside computers, lift assist devices. The unit has a total of 40 beds, with patient ratios approximately 1:3 or 1:4. The team is known for excellent assessment skills and a welcoming environment for floats and contract staff. Certification in BLS and ACLS is required. Hospital is accredited five times by FACT and performs autologous and allogeneic transplants, including CAR-T therapies.
