Description
Job Summary:
Certified Operating Room Technicians (ORT Certification) in Farmington, New Mexico. This position involves providing comprehensive surgical support across various service areas within the operating room, including neuro, orthopedic, gynecological, robotics, general, urology, and trauma surgeries. Candidates are required to bring their certification license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Farmington, New Mexico
- Specialty: Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT Certification)
- Shift: Days, Fri/Sat/Sun 7A-7P with variable assigned call shifts
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Surgical Technology (CST), BLS certification, 2 years of experience, valid CST license, and current BLS certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in neuro, orthopedic, GYN, robotics, general, urology, and trauma surgical services; proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be well-rounded surgical techs versed in all service areas for the OR. Unit supports diverse patient populations across all ages and operates in a Level III trauma center setting. The unit includes ten operating rooms with varied equipment per service specialty.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
