Description
Job Summary:
Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) / Technician position located in Bangor, Maine. The role involves supporting endoscopy procedures, including pre- and post-procedure care, intraprocedural assistance, and room preparation. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Bangor, Maine
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 0700-1530, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certified as a Registered Nurse (RN) with BLS and ACLS certifications; valid licensure in the state; 0 years of experience required (new graduates acceptable)
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pre- and post-procedure care, intraprocedural support, and scrub/tech experience highly preferred; competency with IV starts and assisting with intraprocedural procedures such as colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, EGD, sigmoidoscopy, and GI bleed management; experience with services like ERCP, fluoroscopy, food bolus, endobronchial ultrasound, BRAVO/pill cam, and prepping room is a plus
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The unit is fully staffed with 19-24 RNs, and anesthesia availability is guaranteed Monday through Friday for the procedure rooms. The facility utilizes Cerner charting system and Pyxis medication dispensing. Scrub color will be provided. Free parking is available. The program name is SimpliFi Travel.
