Description
Job Summary:
The Infection Control Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Blountstown, Florida. This role involves supporting the healthcare team by performing routine nursing duties related to infection prevention and control. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day and should possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. This position is scheduled for day shifts, with an expectation of 8 hours per shift and 40 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, 2 years of infection control or related nursing experience, Florida residency or eligibility to practice in Florida, in addition to any applicable certifications such as BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Additional Information: The RN will assess patient needs, implement care plans, maintain clinical skills, and function as a patient advocate. Responsibilities include adhering to infection control policies, ensuring patient safety, processing physician orders, communicating effectively with patients and staff, and participating in staff orientation and development activities. All duties are performed within the scope of licensure and organizational policies.
