Description
Job Summary:
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) in Springfield, Missouri. This position involves providing direct patient care in a telemetry unit utilizing nursing process principles. The role requires delivering high-quality, compassionate care to diverse patient populations and coordinating effectively with the healthcare team during various shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 1900-0700, 36 hours per week minimum
- Required Qualifications: Current RN License in Missouri or eligible for licensure in Missouri, BLS certification from American Heart Association, NIHSS certification (must be obtained prior to start), 1 year of inpatient telemetry experience, competence in drug titration, and experience with adult medical or medical telemetry patients.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required on a rotational basis.
- Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinates patient care with ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort and outcomes. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and performs duties consistent with organizational standards and professional accountability. High risk exposure to blood and body fluids, with physical demands including lifting and moving patients as necessary.
