Job Summary:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Rumford, Maine. This role involves providing exceptional emergency care in a 25-bed critical access hospital that offers 24/7 emergency services to the local community. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position involves night shifts, and the candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience in emergency nursing.

Job Details:

• Location: Rumford, Maine
• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); 2 years of emergency nursing experience; RN license (must be brought on first day)
• Specialty: Emergency Room (ER)
• Fluency in handling all age groups and a variety of illnesses and injuries, with experience in triage
• Unit Information: Small hospital, only one within 40 miles of a trauma center, caring for all ages with diverse medical conditions
• Equipment: Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems including Omnicell and Cerner
• Personal Attributes: Exceptional nursing skills, ability to manage high-acuity patients, adaptable to fast-paced environment
