Job Summary:
The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (OR) located in Miles City, Montana. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate surgical patient care, ensuring safety and quality throughout procedures.

Job Details:

• Location: Miles City, Montana
• Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: - Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is required
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor's degree of Nursing preferred
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association required; ACLS, NRP, or PALS certifications as appropriate for the unit or service preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room is preferred
• Additional Information: The role includes clinical duties such as health data collection, patient assessment, nursing care planning, medication administration, health teaching, and patient referral. The nurse may be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications and may be placed on-call during scheduled shifts. The position involves adherence to hospital and regulatory documentation standards and promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
