Job Summary:
Sterile Processing Technician position available in Bethpage, New York. The role involves working in a busy, state-of-the-art reprocessing center providing sterile processing services for multiple facilities, including tertiary sites and ambulatory surgery centers. The technician will be responsible for decontamination, sterilization, assembly, and packaging of surgical instruments. Candidates are required to bring their sterile processing certification and license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Bethpage, New York
• Shift Time: 03:00:00 PM - 11:00:00 PM
• Schedule: 7.5 hours per shift, with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certified sterile processing technician (CRCST or CSPD), High School Diploma or equivalent, zero years of experience required, valid license, willingness to work every other weekend, ability to lift/carry 25 pounds, manual dexterity, ability to stand, bend, lift, and reach for extended periods, effective communication in English.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a tertiary setting, familiarity with STERIS Washers, Autoclave IT System (SynergyTrak), and sterilization equipment.
• Additional Information: Scrubs provided and must be laundered at the facility, shoes, jewelry, hair, and beard must be covered, no nail polish, free parking available.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
