Job Summary:
The PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Registered Nurse position is located in Deming, New Mexico. This role involves providing post-anesthesia care to patients in a surgical setting, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical staff, and other healthcare personnel. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Deming, New Mexico

• Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid New Mexico Registered Nurse licensure; current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; two years of experience, including prior travel experience.

• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: No locals will be accepted. All travel submissions must include at least two years of experience and prior travel experience. The position involves shift accountability for performing safe patient care in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act, American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE) guidelines, and hospital policies. The RN demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering patient care, maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education, delegating care appropriately, and providing supervision to assigned personnel.
