Description
Job Summary:
The Birmingham, Alabama healthcare organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Floor (MS) registered nurse for a night shift position. This opportunity requires candidates to have a minimum of two years experience in the specialty and prior travel experience. Candidates must also possess an active compact or Alabama license and be available to start on or after July 13, 2026. Successful applicants are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Birmingham, Alabama
- Shift: Nights (PM shift)
- Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years experience in the specialty, travel experience, Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience if starting before 07/25, and an active compact or Alabama license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience is preferred.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week, starting from 07/13/2026.
- Additional Information: Candidates cannot have any RTO (Request Time Off) approved between 07/19 and 08/08. The facility is unable to start travelers during the week of 07/19 07/25.
