Job Summary:
Vermont Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Saint Johnsbury. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care in a general Med/Surg unit, focusing on adult and occasional pediatric patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position is scheduled for day shifts, starting on June 24, 2026.

Job Details:

• Location: Saint Johnsbury, Vermont
• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license or multi-state RN licensure; at least 3 years of acute care experience; certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic medical record system is preferred
• Additional Information: Travelers will start on Wednesdays. During the week of orientation, travelers on a 48-hour contract will only be guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start. Candidates must upload all required credentials five business days before the start date.
• Responsibilities: Coordinate patient care for adult and occasional pediatric patients on the general Med/Surg unit, collaborating closely with team members and utilizing the Nursing Process to meet patients' physiological, psychosocial, spiritual, and developmental needs.
