Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse for a position located in Evanston, Illinois. The role involves providing specialized critical care in an ICU setting, supporting the health care team with patient management during night shifts. Candidates are required to bring their active Illinois nursing license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

• Location: Evanston, Illinois
• Schedule: Nights (7 p.m. 7 a.m.), 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois nursing license, CPR certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), minimum of 2+ years ICU experience, Epic electronic medical record experience, resume submission, 1 reference from the past year, skills checklist, all active certifications, ability to start by June 14, 2026
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic experience
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Contract duration of 6 weeks with potential extension to 8 weeks. The position requires attendance at orientation on Monday, with credentials due by Thursday before the start date. Candidates must submit with a passed EKG test. Scheduled shifts include 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule, and the role may involve floating to other Northshore hospital ICUs.
