Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Denver, Colorado. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in the pediatric open heart surgery unit within a busy facility. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

Location: Denver, Colorado
Shift Hours: 10 hours per day, with shift times from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 1-year of current acute care hospital Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, experience in cardiac or open heart surgery
Preferred Qualifications: Pediatrics experience, CVOR or cardiac experience, ability to function in multiple service lines

Additional Information: The unit staff includes day shift charge RNs, RNs, certified surgical technologists, and anesthesia providers. Equipment includes Belmont Rapid Fusion, with an EMR system using Meditech and CPN modules. The unit offers high patient acuity and a collaborative team environment, emphasizing excellent patient care and effective communication with staff and providers.
