Job Summary:
A Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) position is available at a healthcare organization located in Denver, Colorado. This role involves working in a dedicated Pediatric Operating Room specializing in open-heart procedures, supporting surgeons, managing pre- and post-operative care, and monitoring vital signs. The position offers day shift hours and requires the ability to work collaboratively within a specialized team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Position: Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)
• Shift Hours: 10 hours per shift
• Schedule: Days 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Location: Denver, Colorado
• Address: 1719 19th Avenue, Denver, CO 80218
• Type of Unit: Pediatric Operating Room with 8 beds and 25 staff members, including charge RNs, RNs, CSTs, and anesthesia personnel
• Procedures Performed: Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, Spine, General, Gynecological, Endoscopy, Plastics, Cardiac (including open-heart surgery)
• Responsibilities: Manage operating room, assist surgeons, monitor vital signs, and provide pre- and post-operative care
• Required Qualifications: 1+ years of current acute care hospital PEDS CVOR RN experience, BLS & ACLS certifications, valid RN license, ability to function in multiple service lines
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatrics experience, CVOR/Cardiac experience, ability to handle multiple service lines
