Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry at a facility located in Reno, Nevada. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients within a busy, fast-paced hospital environment. Candidates are required to bring their Nevada RN license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Reno, Nevada
- Schedule: Days shift, 3x12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week; schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.
- Required Qualifications: Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) license required prior to start; Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); minimum 2 years of telemetry experience. Candidate will be required to pass a telemetry competency exam, including identifying and measuring rhythm strips. Failure of exam will result in contract termination.
- Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level. May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period. Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.
