Job Summary:
ThedaCare Neenah is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Medical/Surgical care for a 13-week assignment on the Medical/Surgical Floor in Neenah, Wisconsin. This position involves 12-hour night shifts with a start date as soon as possible. Candidates are required to bring their Wisconsin RN license on the first day of employment. The role involves working within a dynamic hospital environment, providing comprehensive patient care on a busy surgical unit.
Job Details:
- Location: Neenah, Wisconsin
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, starting at 5:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Certifications and Education: Wisconsin RN license, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); Associate Degree or Certificate required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of nursing experience required, with at least 2+ years in Medical/Surgical nursing and one previous travel assignment
- Required Qualifications: Wisconsin RN license, AHA BLS certification, NIHSS certification, EPIC charting experience within the last 2 years, minimum 3+ years of RN experience, 2+ years of Medical/Surgical experience, and minimum 1 travel assignment
- Special Skills: Experience caring for trauma surgeries, neuro, and orthopaedic patients, including post-op neuro trauma surgeries, post-op ortho trauma surgeries (fusions, backs/spines), chest tubes, PCA/epidural/Q-ball, and CBI
- Responsibilities include working throughout the facility within skill set and all ThedaCare facilities within a 60-mile radius, with float requirements
- Additional Information: No new travelers, 8-hour unbillable orientation, holiday rotation required, and no call/back requirements
- Shift Notes: 12-hour nights, with start times at 5:30 PM and scheduled days Monday through Friday, with every other weekend off
