Job Summary
Paramedic position available in Farmington, New Mexico. This role involves providing emergency medical services on an ALS (Advanced Life Support) Type 1 Ambulance, with candidates required to bring their paramedic license on the first day. The position offers a schedule of 12-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details
- Location: Farmington, New Mexico
- Certifications: NM Paramedic License, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) all from the American Heart Association
- Education and Experience: Certification as listed above; two (2) years of experience in 911 operations is required
- Schedule: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Candidates will be working in an ALS Type 1 Ambulance unit, providing emergency medical care to the population served by the organization in the San Juan River Valley region. The ambulance is equipped with Ford F550 Type 1 vehicle, Zoll X series monitors, Stryker auto load, and Sapphire IV Pump. The environment involves riding along on an ambulance, not driving the vehicle.
