Job Summary:
Licensed Practical Nurse (L&D) in Bellefontaine, Ohio. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care in the labor and delivery department. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Bellefontaine, Ohio
• Specialty: Labor and Delivery Department
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid active Ohio or compact license, 1 year of labor and delivery experience, postpartum and nursery experience, ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); BSN degree preferred; current certifications must be through AHA and active at start; COVID vaccination card required if vaccinated.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree.
• Additional Information: Demonstrates ability to perform a head-to-toe assessment, develop and revise plans of care, administer medications correctly, and communicate professionally with patients, families, and team members. Ensures the safety of patients and maintains compliance with standards and policies. Performs annual competencies, including bedside blood glucose waived testing, and coordinates patient care with an interdisciplinary team.
