Description
Job Summary:
Step Down Unit Nursing, Asheville, North Carolina. This position involves providing specialized care in a step down unit environment. Qualified candidates are expected to bring their active nursing license on the first day. The role requires a high level of clinical competency and flexibility to meet patient care needs.
Job Details:
- Location: Asheville, North Carolina
- Specialty: Step Down
- Shift: Day Shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; 0 years of experience is acceptable; certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Additional Information: Six Saturday or Sunday shifts within a six-week period; the position may involve working with trachs, chest tubes, cardiac drips, stable vented patients, and other equipment such as lifts. EMR system used is Cerner.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Responsibilities include trach care, chest tubes, wound dressing changes, and adhering to unit policies and guidelines.
