Job Summary:
The position is for a Step Down Nurse in Clarksville, Tennessee. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a step-down unit within a healthcare facility. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Clarksville, Tennessee
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Tennessee license or a compact license, possess Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications, and have a minimum of 2 years of experience, with prior travel experience preferred.
- Additional Information: Orientation sessions are scheduled for 6/22, 6/29, 7/6, and 7/13. The unit is a 21-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:4, and staff may float to Med-Surg or Emergency Room departments as needed. The EMR system used is Cerner. Weekend work is required. The patient population includes adults aged 18 and older with cardiac and respiratory conditions. The unit determines the schedule. The hiring process involves an interview with the manager before an offer is extended.
