Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) position in Johnson City, New York, involves providing expert nursing care within a Medical Surgical Float position. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, ensuring all standards of practice and regulatory requirements are met. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The role emphasizes flexibility across various clinical settings within the organization.

Job Details:

• Location: Johnson City, New York
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN certification with current New York State RN license, BLS (American Heart Association, Health Stream Inc., or American Red Cross), and a minimum of 6 months to 3 years of nursing experience. Experience in a medical-surgical or acute care setting is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting, additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or TNCC are a plus.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The nurse must have experience with cardiac telemetry, including TAVR, watchman, mitral clips, heart catheterizations, post-op open-heart care, cardiac drips, anticoagulants, and related conditions such as CHF, arrythmias, NSTEMI, STEMI, PE, stroke, and post-op cardiac procedures.
