Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in Naperville, Illinois. This position involves providing comprehensive care to patients requiring postoperative recovery, neuro telemetry monitoring, and management of various surgical and vascular conditions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details
- Location: Naperville, Illinois
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours
- Specialty: Medical Surgical Floor (MS)
- Shift: 12-hour days
- Schedule: Days, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Illinois Licensure (IL Lic), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience, minimum of 2+ years of experience, travel experience, specializing in neuro telemetry patients with CVA/TIA, subdurals, seizure disorders, post-operative surgical oncology (excluding chemo administration), vascular surgery recovery after peripheral angiograms, peripheral artery disease (PAD) with wounds, and below-the-knee amputations.
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Might float to medical-surgical units if needed. Will be assigned every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Holiday shifts may be assigned, including minor and major holidays. Orientation can be scheduled any day of the week, with 24 hours designated; 12 hours are non-billable. Credentials are due the Thursday before the start date.
