Description
Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) RN position in Naperville, Illinois. This role involves providing care to patients with neuro telemetry, cerebrovascular accidents (CVA) or transient ischemic attacks (TIA), subdurals, seizure disorders, and post-operative recovery from surgeries such as Whipple procedures, esophagectomies, and colon resections. Candidates are required to bring their Illinois license on the first day.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: IL Licensure, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, Epic experience; 2+ years of hospital experience, travel experience, specializing in neuro telemetry patients with CVA/TIA, subdurals, seizure disorders, post-operative surgical recovery, vascular surgery, peripheral angiograms, wounds, and amputations.
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Float: Might float to neighboring facilities if needed.
- Additional Information: Start date is June 14, 2026. Orientation can be scheduled on any day of the week, providing 24 hours with 12 hours non-billable. Credential verification, updated resume, one reference from a tele manager within the last year, skills checklist, and Illinois licensure verification are due the Thursday before the start date.
