Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Mother/Baby care is needed in Baltimore, Maryland. This position involves working in the antepartum and postpartum units, providing patient care for mothers and newborns. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day of assignment. The start date is June 1, 2026.
Job Details:
- Location: Baltimore, Maryland
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- Valid RN license
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Antepartum, Postpartum, and Nursery/Mother-Baby care
- Certifications: Advanced NRP (must have all 11 modules), NCC Fetal Monitoring (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) Certification, Newborn STABLE certification (current education completed)
- Preferred Qualifications:
- ACLS certification
- EPIC (inpatient stork) experience
- Additional Information:
- Candidates must have completed Newborn STABLE education with a valid certificate
- Candidates must have completed all 11 modules of Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); NRP Essentials Modules 1-4 are not acceptable
- Prior employment with Johns Hopkins facilities must be noted on the coversheet and in the work history; candidates must be gone for at least one year if previously employed in any capacity at Johns Hopkins facilities
