Description
Job Summary:
Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse in Brookhaven, Georgia. The position involves providing specialized care to pediatric patients with hematology and oncology conditions. Candidates are required to bring their active nursing license on the first day. This role is scheduled for day shifts with every other weekend work.
Job Details:
- Location: Brookhaven, Georgia
- Schedule: Days shift, 3x12 hours (0700-1900), minimum of 36 hours per week, every other weekend required
- Required Qualifications: Active RN license at the time of submission, 2 or more years of nursing experience, pediatric hematology/oncology experience required, BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and APHON CHEMO certification. Vaccinations for flu are required, and a drug screen for nicotine is necessary.
- Additional Information: Experience with bone marrow transplant (BMT) is preferred but not mandatory. EMR system in use is Epic. RTO (Requests for Time Off) must be included at the time of submission. The facility is drug-free and requires a flu shot without exemptions.
