Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Bethesda, Maryland. This role involves providing perioperative nursing care in a busy outpatient surgical facility. The candidate must have at least two years of operating room experience, along with certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Experience with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system is required. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Bethesda, Maryland
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications, Epic EMR experience, two years of operating room experience, Maryland nurse license or compact state license, and a minimum of two years of OR experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric patients, familiarity with multiple service lines including Orthopedics, Electrophysiology, Urology, Plastics, ENT, Facial Plastics, Cataracts, Pain Management, and Breast Oncology.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • No on-call, weekend, or holiday shifts.
  • Every third week will include a late week rotation.
  • No holidays.
  • No on-call duties.
  • Parking is free for staff.
  • Previous employment within a major health care system must be noted in the work history and on the coversheet if applicable, with at least one year elapsed since last employment for travel applicants.
  • The position duration is three weeks, working 40 hours per week.
