Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Thornton, Colorado. This position involves providing specialized care to obstetric patients in a dedicated labor and delivery unit. The candidate is expected to bring their license on the first day and perform in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, adhering to facility policies and procedures.
Job Details:
- Location: Thornton, Colorado
- Schedule: Days, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital labor and delivery (L&D) registered nurse (RN) experience; certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) C or AWHONN; experience with Beacon Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Meditech, or CPN; must have prior Meditech experience and postpartum care experience is highly preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior Meditech experience and postpartum care experience.
- Additional Information: Candidates should be adaptable, flexible, and consistent with a positive attitude. No float rotation is specified.
