Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Iowa City, Iowa. This position involves working in a busy academic medical environment, providing specialized emergency care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Iowa City, Iowa
- Specialty: Emergency Room (ER)
- Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Two years of experience in a large level 1 trauma center, travel experience required. Candidates must hold current licensure and relevant certifications. Experience in high-acuity settings such as high-end level 2 trauma centers (e.g., Baltimore, New York City) is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a large level 1 trauma center, recent trauma nursing experience, travel experience
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position starts on July 6, 2026, with potential start dates on June 22 or July 6. Candidates should have experience in large trauma centers and be comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency setting.
