Description
Job Summary:
A Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in the Naperville, Illinois area. This assignment involves working night shifts and requires candidates to possess a valid Illinois RN license and relevant PICU experience. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, and tertiary Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience. New graduates with zero years of experience may be considered.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) or Special Care Nursery (SCN) at Edward NICU or Elmhurst SCN is preferred.
- Additional Information:
- Orientation: One 12-hour shift with six hours non-billable.
- Weekend rotation every other weekend, with flexibility to assist during weekdays.
- On-call requirements are not applicable.
- Candidates must submit a current resume, one reference from a PICU supervisor within the past year, a skills checklist, and verification of Illinois licensure.
- The assignment start date is June 14, 2026, for a duration of 12 weeks.
- Floating requirements include experience in Edward NICU or Elmhurst SCN.
