Job Summary:
Hospice Nurse specialized in skilled nursing is needed in Marshall, Michigan. This role involves providing direct patient care in the home setting, utilizing all phases of the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Marshall, Michigan

• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association)
• Required Qualifications: Valid Michigan license; BLS (American Heart Association) certification; 2 years hospice experience; ability to work 40 hours per week
• Schedule: On-call 1 full week every month, involving evenings from 1700 to 0830 on weeknights and 24-hour coverage on weekends.
• Additional Information: Provides direct nursing care at the patient's residence, follows physician-ordered care plans, completes documentation timely, and participates in quality improvement activities. Builds partnerships with healthcare team members and ensures safety and quality of care.
