Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse position in Medford, Wisconsin. This role involves providing high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy emergency department setting. The successful candidate will be required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin (WI) or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Associate Degree or Certificate, 3+ years of emergency room experience, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts including a mix of 8 and 12 hour shifts, days and evenings, with weekly shifts potentially comprising four 8-hour shifts or two 12-hour shifts and an 8-hour shift. Shift times vary from 0700-1500, 0700-1900, 1500-2300, or 1100-2300. Every other weekend and holiday. Shift notes indicate 12-hour variable shifts.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other nearby facilities such as Merrill, Wausau, Langlade, and Stanley.
• Additional Information: Scrubs must be clean and work appropriate, adhering to PPE guidelines. The unit is an 8-bed emergency department with potential flow into clinical exam rooms. Travelers may be on call for low census hours, which count toward unbillable hours. During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times, with no exceptions.
