Job Summary:
A Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. This outpatient procedural role involves performing wound and ostomy care, including topical wound care, compression wraps, wound vacuum-assisted closure (VACs), total contact casting, and conservative sharp wound debridement. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. The position requires at least two years of experience in wound care or relevant certification.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 4 days a week, with a start time of 0730 to 1700 hours
• Required Qualifications: WI or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum of 2 years experience in wound care or a related certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Wound and ostomy certification or extensive work experience in a wound/ostomy clinic
• Float: Float rotation may be required to the Howard Young Wound Clinic in Woodruff, WI
• Additional Information: No holiday shifts; on-call responsibilities may involve low census periods with a minimum of 2 hours response time; no weekend rotations or holidays required; scrubs must be any type of scrubs with closed-toed shoes, no fake nails or nail polish
