Description
Job Summary
Sterile Processing Technician in Seaside, Oregon. This position involves sterilizing and decontaminating medical instruments and equipment in a healthcare setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in sterile processing; certifications include BLS, CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPAS; must be certified in sterile processing; applicable license required or pending.
- Schedule: Shift hours are 10 hours per day, Days shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical records system Epic.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Cleans and sterilizes instruments and endoscopes campus-wide, including clinics and endoscope processing. Must be able to perform endoscope reprocessing, general decontamination, and sterile processing duties.
