Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Aurora, Colorado. This role involves providing specialized care within the surgical suite of the healthcare facility. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position requires a minimum of one year of current acute care hospital OR RN experience.
Job Details:
- Location: Aurora, Colorado
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum 1-year current acute care hospital operating room RN experience, BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
- Additional Information: Call requirements are 1-2 nights per week, and 1-2 weekend call shifts per month. Candidates with Meditech EMR experience and prior charge or precepting experience will be prioritized. Familiarity with general OR surgeries including neuro/spine, cardiovascular, orthopedic, gynecological, and robotic procedures is preferred. Flexibility and excellent communication skills are highly valued.
