Job Summary:
The role of Surgical Technician (operating room technician) is located in Colchester, Vermont. Candidates are needed to support a temporary assignment starting June 29, 2026, with an expected duration of 13 to 16 weeks. The position involves working in a busy outpatient surgery setting, supporting procedures including sports medicine, eye surgery, urology, plastics, and more. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Position: Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician)
• Location: Colchester, Vermont
• Shift Details: Rotating Day/Evening shifts, Monday to Sunday, requiring flexibility for weekends and call as needed typically 1 night per week and 1 weekend every 2 weeks
• Schedule: 10-hour shift hours, estimated minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technician with American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), CNOR certification preferred; at least 2 years of operating room experience; prior travel experience; valid license to practice as a Surgical Technician
• Additional Information: This is a travel assignment with no block schedules. Orientation occurs bi-weekly on Mondays, with the next available session on 7/13. All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained. Complete work history including bed count, electronic medical records system, facility type, etc., is mandatory for submission. IVS to offer. Reliable transportation, such as personal or rental vehicle, is strongly recommended, especially during months of November to April due to seasonal weather conditions.
