Description
Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse is located in Alexandria, Louisiana. This position involves providing patient care on a MedSurg/Telemetry unit, following the organization's policies and procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day Shift or Night Shift, with minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Licensure as a registered nurse, basic life support (BLS) certification, and a minimum of 0 years of experience in medical surgical or telemetry nursing.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic medical records, strong time management skills, and critical thinking skills.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to all MedSurg/Telemetry floors.
- Additional Information:
- Unit type: MedSurg/Telemetry
- Patient ratios: 6 to 1
- Equipment used: EKG Machine, DynaMaps, Bladder Scanner, Vein Finder, Telemetry
- Typical procedures performed: Heart Caths

- Dress code: Scrub color/attire - Ceil Blue
- Weekend and on-call requirements: Every other weekend or two full weekends per month
