Description

Job Summary:
Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse Stress Technician position available in Hermiston, Oregon. This role involves providing skilled nursing support during cardiac and pulmonary stress testing procedures, combining patient assessment, clinical judgment, and technical operation of stress testing equipment. Candidates are required to bring their Oregon state Registered Nurse (RN) license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Location: Hermiston, Oregon
  • Shift: Days, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am 5:00 pm, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; Oregon state RN license; BLS certification; ACLS certification; CRASE training. If the travel assignment extends beyond six months, CRASE training will be required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac stress testing, ECG interpretation, or cardiopulmonary diagnostics; N (No specified number of years required) years of experience.
  • Additional Information: The Nurse Stress Technician provides pre-test patient assessments, monitors patients during testing, administers medication (if credentialed), operates stress testing equipment, documents procedures, and collaborates with healthcare team members. The role involves physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and requires alertness to patient status and safety protocols. The environment is an indoor healthcare setting with exposure to infectious diseases and medical equipment. This position may involve float duties to other qualified departments.
