Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN), Telemetry (TELE), Ottumwa, Iowa This is a rapid response assignment for a 12-hour night shift position at a regional health center. The role involves providing specialized patient care within the telemetry unit, primarily serving adult patients. Candidates are required to bring their licensed registration on the first day. The assignment is scheduled to start on June 5, 2026, with a work schedule of 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, offering a guaranteed minimum of 48 hours per week.
Job Details
- Location: Ottumwa, Iowa
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry (TELE)
- Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Nights shift
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) mandatory; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred but not required
- Experience Requirements: 1-2 years of relevant nursing experience
- Minimum Experience: 0 years (however, 1-2 years preferred)
- Travel Experience: Preferred but not required
- Float Requirements: May be required to float within a 25 mile radius of the facility
- Additional Qualifications: Must have a valid mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult), drug test (10-panel including opiates), and titers from the last 12 months. Candidates must complete all background checks (Criminal and Child Abuse portions) prior to start.
- Onboarding Requirements: Iowa SING Background (BG) check clearance is mandatory, with no exceptions. All background checks must be fully cleared prior to the start date.
