Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (Med Surg) on the healthcare provider's surgical floor located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. • Number of Beds: 27
• Number of Staff: 5-6 Registered Nurses (RNs) / 2-3 Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs)
• Schedule: Night shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week; Monday through Friday day shifts available
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license must be in hand at the time of submission; minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical (Med Surg) in a hospital setting; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in orthopedics and bariatrics; ability to work collaboratively and focus on patient care; familiarity with EMR systems and equipment such as Hoyer lifts, CPM, and code carts
• Additional Information: Patient ratios of 5-6:1; floating area in medical oncology may be required; no specific dress code; 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; work environment includes use of Hoyer lifts, CPM, and code carts; shift hours are 12 hours during night shift
