Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Clyde, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized care to adult cardiac patients in a hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day, with a focus on team-oriented communication and flexibility to meet unit needs.

Job Details:

• Location: Clyde, North Carolina
• Shift: PM shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license; minimal education requirement of an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN); BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certifications; 0 years of experience required; candidates must hold license at the time of placement
• Preferred Qualifications: Step-down or ICU experience; two years of experience preferred
• Schedule: PM shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Additional Information: Orientation occurs bi-weekly; float rotation may be required; patient ratios are 4:1; telemetry equipment in use; 22 beds in the unit; work environment involves adult cardiac patient care, including post-cardiac catheterization, cardioversions, and other cardiac treatments; uniform code is navy scrubs; no unacceptable attire such as offensive tattoos or non-facility tops
