Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) located in Baltimore, Maryland. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to patients requiring intermediate level care, including those transitioning from intensive care units or preparing for discharge. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and at least 2 years of current Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) experience with a minimum of two previous travel assignments.
- Preferred Qualifications: Critical Care Certification, trauma course, Electronic Patient Information Computer System (EPIC), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Additional Information: Experience with ICU and post-surgical patients, including trauma, transplant, vascular, gastrointestinal, orthopedic/neuro spine procedures, and general surgery. Orientation sessions are held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month. Float duties to areas of similar skill set may be required. Candidates with prior employment at any Johns Hopkins healthcare facilities must have past work documented in their work history to verify rehire eligibility. Candidates should verify their previous employment before submission.
