Job Summary:
Oncology Nurse, Irvine, California. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within a designated Cancer Center. The role requires delivering comprehensive patient care, managing side effects of treatments, and supporting patients and their families through education and coordination. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Irvine, California
• Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California state nursing license in-hand; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) or Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification; no minimum years of experience specified
• Certifications: All required certifications must be in-hand when applying
• Additional Information:
  • Facility fix notes specify the position is located in a Cancer Center with no weekend shifts
  • No float requirement indicated
  • No travel experience or specific patient demographic experience required beyond general oncology competencies
  • Must have Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience noted in work history
  • References: Two supervisor references required
  • No Return to Office (RTO) within the first two weeks; maximum of 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract, highly preferred
  • RTO confirmation screenshot required when applying
