Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in York, Pennsylvania. The RN is responsible for maintaining the delivery of high-quality patient care, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

• Location: York, Pennsylvania
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certifications and Experience: BLS Certification required prior to first shift; ACLS Certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only); Minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience
• Additional Information: Performs comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission; Develops and implements patient care plans; Participates in patient education and discharge planning; Maintains accurate documentation of assessments and interventions; Ensures safety in all care activities, including patient handling and infectious disease protocols; Delegates appropriately and supervises ancillary staff; Assumes charge responsibility following orientation; Engages in ongoing professional development; Promotes a positive and safe work environment; Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes and safety; Follows all hospital policies regarding personal appearance, attendance, and safety.
