Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse with experience in Cardiovascular Progressive Care is needed in Asheville, North Carolina. The position involves working in a unit focused on patients undergoing cardiovascular and vascular surgeries, including open heart surgeries, thoracic lung surgeries, and vascular procedures. Candidates are required to bring their licensing documentation on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Asheville, North Carolina
• Address: 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801
• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, no minimum experience required, candidates with prior CV surgery and vascular surgery experience within the past year preferred, experience in stepdown units and telemetry, familiarity with Cerner electronic medical record system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with cardiovascular surgery and vascular procedures such as open heart surgery, TAVR, lobectomy, AAA repair, and fem-pop bypass within a year, CVICU experience, team-oriented personality, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, flexibility.
• Additional Information: No call, minimum of 6 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday day/night) per 6-week schedule period, flexible to work holidays.
