Description
Job Summary:
The Operating Room (OR) Nurse position is located in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The role involves providing specialized nursing care in a busy surgical environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. The position offers the opportunity to work a night shift with a schedule of five 8-hour shifts weekly.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 5x8 hour night shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, EPIC electronic medical record experience, and a minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience.
- Specialized Skills: Experience with abdominal, vaginal hysterectomy, appendectomy, colonoscopy, craniotomy, cystectomy, laparoscopic procedures, minimally invasive surgery, orthopedic robotic surgery, and other advanced surgical procedures.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) endorsed by AHA (American Heart Association) or ARC (American Red Cross).
- Additional Information: Ability to care for COVID-19 patients. Candidates must meet vaccination requirements, including COVID-19 and influenza vaccines. The facility is tobacco and fragrance free; notification prior to submission is required for travelers with sensitivities.
- RTO (Request for Time Off): Maximum 7 days.
- Location: 112 N 7TH ST, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
- Start Date: 06/29/2026.
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant OR nursing experience.
