Job Summary:
The position of Operating Room Assistant is located in Jackson, Kentucky. This role involves assisting with surgical procedures and maintaining a sterile environment under the supervision of surgical team members. Candidates are required to bring their Kentucky license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Jackson, Kentucky

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience, accredited training through a certificate, diploma or associates degree program, Kentucky license, prior travel experience (at least 2 years of experience with travel experience). No local candidates will be accepted. Credentialing is required through KRMC.
• Additional Information: Operating room assistants, also known as surgical technologists or operating room technicians, help with surgical procedures under the supervision of surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other members of the surgical team. They also ensure the operating room is clean before, during, and after surgery. All travel submissions must include at least 2 years of experience along with prior travel experience. No weekends or on-call periods are currently scheduled, but flexibility may be needed if call is implemented. All facilities operate as a PWP facility, meaning vendors will not get paid until the facility has paid the staffing organization.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
