Job Summary:
Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Westbrook, Maine. The role involves providing mental health care in a psychiatric unit specializing in adult mental health. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. This position requires a minimum of two years of experience in acute adult mental health, with proficiency in de-escalation skills and managing patients with thought disordered, psychotic, personality disorder, or manic conditions.

Job Details:

• Location: Westbrook, Maine
• Position: Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) Adult Mental Health
• Shift Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: 36 hours per week (minimum hours per week)
• Required Qualifications: Licensed RN with at least 2 years of experience in acute adult mental health, de-escalation skills, experience caring for patients with thought disordered, psychotic, personality disorder, or manic conditions
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in psychiatric units with adult populations, strong communication and clinical skills
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Position is on a psychiatric unit with 6 beds, serving patients with complex mental health needs. The role emphasizes maintaining a professional and calm demeanor, adhering to clinical standards, and supporting patients through stabilization and recovery processes.
