Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in General Surgery and Urology in Jacksonville, Florida. This 13-week assignment involves providing comprehensive nursing care, patient education, and supporting transitions of care within the operating room specialty. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Jacksonville, Florida

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 0645-1715; on-call required

• Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a nursing program with an entry-level associate degree or higher in nursing
  • Current RN license by applicable state requirements
  • Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Computer skills required
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends, and on-call
  • Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the work setting
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Skillful in mentoring and teaching
  • Successful sponsorship will require state licensure and completion of the VisaScreen or equivalent certification

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred
  • Additional specialty certification or training as required by the work area

• Additional Information:

  • This role is eligible for TN sponsorship. Holders of F1 status eligible for post-completion Optional Practical Training (OPT) are welcome to apply. This role is NOT eligible to participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.
