Job Summary:
The operating room nurse position is located in Burbank, California. This role involves providing specialized perioperative patient care within an acute care hospital setting. Job Details:

• Location: Burbank, California
• Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
• Schedule: Days; 8-hour shifts; minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); valid California license in hand; 2 years of relevant experience including charge nurse responsibilities; previous experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Epic; minimum 1 year of charge experience; at least 2 years of clinical experience total.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in handling a wide variety of surgical procedures such as thoracotomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, arthroscopy, spine procedures, and others as listed.
• Additional Information: The role involves on-call duties with calls scheduled around 4-6 within a 6-week period, primarily from 2300-0700 hours Monday through Friday and 0700-1900 or 1900-0700 on weekends. Willingness to float between facilities within the state is expected; refusal may impact assignment and hours. Travelers are required to work at least 3 of 5 major holidays.
