Description

Job Summary:
The profession of registered nurse in a clinic setting located in San Francisco, California, is seeking qualified candidates for an oncology unit. This role involves providing inpatient and outpatient oncology care, including chemotherapy administration and patient education. Candidates are required to bring their California nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

  • Location: San Francisco, California
  • Schedule: 8-hour days, minimum 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: CA RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, minimum of 3 years oncology experience (medical/surgical oncology preferred), 5 years RN experience, 2 years outpatient oncology experience, Epic electronic medical record (EMR) proficiency, CA state licensure
  • Preferred Qualifications: Outpatient oncology experience, certification as Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), experience with chemotherapy administration, advanced directives, patient/family education, and care coordination
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including the booster, with medical or religious exemptions only. Two references from the most recent employer are required at the time of submittal.
