Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician for a facility located in Tacoma, Washington. This position supports a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves assisting during complex procedures and may require floating to other units as needed.

Job Details:

• Location: Tacoma, Washington
• Schedule: Nights shift from 1845 to 0715, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Certified Surgical Technologist (CST); Washington state license. No specific years of experience listed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in robotics, neuro, ophthalmology, dental, and high-level neuro or extensive pediatric experience (5+ years). Willingness to scrub above case types.
• Additional Information: Floating to assist with procedures in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) cases in Tacoma General connected by walkway on the same campus. On-call approximately two weeknights every six weeks and one weekend, with a 30-minute response time. Weekend shifts are unlikely but possible. Parking is free.
